AIM High Mentors
AIM High Drop out Prevention:
— Incentives for students that participate in the program during
the course of
the school year.
— One hour per week with 6th,7th, and 8th grade groups
with guidance counselor and business mentors.
— Introduce students to the concept of Possible Selves
— To help students become aware of their strenghts & interests
— Students identify their hopes, expectations and fears by
comleteing
a Possible Selves Questionnaire
— Work with students to complete a Possible Self Tree
— Celebrate student
success and accomplishments
— Assess changes in student attitude and
performance by completing post survey
